Just a little gifty I drew up for a buddy of mine, Zealot! I like his fursona so here he is....at least a headshot. I think I'm getting sick... but yeah...trying more lineartless. Need feedback.
The anatomy looks pretty much perfect, and so does the hair! The only critique I have is that the fur looks like of flat on the neck and the base of the ears...I don't have much experience with drawing fur digitally though, but I'd suggest adding some darker tones to make it look more three dimensional. If all else fails there's a ton of good fur tutorials on here, though it all depends how detailed you want to go. I love the expression and the tilt of his head though. Great job!
:'D Thanks a lot. And yeah I've been told that about the neck and ears. And I can see it now that it's been posted and I came back to it. I'll remember that for when I go back to it. And thanks so much! I really appreciate that you gave me feedback and thanks so much!!
Lineless art is always a bit tricky. I think the form is well-executed, I love his expression!
Green is one of those colors I struggle with when it comes to shading. I mainly find the difficulties in the shadows. While I think you've done a nice job here, I could see where some deeper shadows all around could really push the envelope. A little bit of color there could give the piece a bit more interest as well - try experimenting with slightly purple and blue shadows. ^_^
There's some messy lines in the muzzle below the eye.... I feel like there should be short, hardly noticeable strokes versus the longs ones you have there.
Dat hair. -thumbs up- I think that's my favorite part besides the eyes. <3
Over all, a great piece! I just thought I'd give you honest feedback since you asked.
Yes it is! But I wanna move more towards it....at least as much as I can.
Green can be pretty difficult for me as well. Kinda depends on the hue im using. I see what you're saying with the shadows. I'll definitely keep it in mind for sure!
I also see what you're saying about the area around the eyes. I kinda noticed it when I was working on it but just kinda forgot about it after while, thanks for pointing it back out.
Thanks so much. It was the most fun to work on haha.
Thanks again I really appreciate it. I wish I could get it more often. I wanna improve as much as I can!
